3-ON-3 DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE

Our approach: Everybody Plays™

We recognize that not every child may have the opportunity, or skill level to play sports competitively. We also understand the importance of recreational activities for youth to have fun, stay fit, and improve their athletic abilities.

That's why we developed a 3 on 3 Development Basketball League specifically designed for beginner and intermediate level players. Students in grades 3rd through 9th can enjoy two basketball games per week over a six-week period. The seventh week will feature playoffs and a championship, adding an exciting element to the league.

Coaches (only 1 hour per week will be needed) are needed for the 3rd through 6th grade teams and the 7th through 9th grade teams will coach themselves.

We are looking forward to this inaugural season and we view this league as an extension of the Richton Park/Park Forest Youth Basketball League, which YEDA sponsors and supports.

League Details:

• 4 League Brackets: 3rd/4th, 5th/5th, 7th/8th, and 8th/9th 

• 6 weeks of play, 2 games per night (no practices)

• Week 7 will include playoffs and championship

• Team tee-shirts will be provided and 

• Awards distributed at the end of the season- (first place team in each bracket also receives a free invite to the fall YEDA Basketball Training Sessions)
