YEDA Liability Waiver, General Release, and Terms and Conditions of Use

Youth Education and Development Academy (YEDA) is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all participants, parents, and staff. Please carefully review the following terms to ensure compliance and understanding of responsibilities, rights, and liabilities associated with participation in our programs, events, and services.

General Release of Liability

By booking and paying for YEDA programs, events, classes, or services, I acknowledge and consent to the participation of the registered participant(s) in all related activities. I understand that participation may involve inherent risks of personal injury, property damage, or other harm.

I agree to assume full responsibility for these risks and hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless YEDA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, instructors, agents, and any associated venues or organizations ("Released Parties") from all liability for loss, damages, or injuries to any participant(s) or third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from negligence or any other cause.

Minor Photo Release

By enrolling a minor child in YEDA programs, events, or services, I grant YEDA and its representatives the right to photograph and use images of my child for lawful purposes, including publicity, advertising, marketing, and social media. No royalties, fees, or compensation will be provided for such use.

If I do not consent to my child’s photograph being used, I agree to provide written notice to YEDA before the start of the program. YEDA will make reasonable efforts to exclude my child’s image from public-facing materials but cannot guarantee absolute exclusion.

COVID-19 Acknowledgment and Waiver

COVID-19, declared a global pandemic, presents risks of serious illness or death. I acknowledge that participating in YEDA programs may increase exposure to COVID-19 despite YEDA’s precautions.

Assumption of Risk:

I accept full responsibility for the risk of exposure, infection, or transmission of COVID-19 related to participation in YEDA activities.

Waiver of Lawsuit/Liability:

I release and waive my right to bring legal claims against YEDA and its Released Parties for any COVID-19-related illness, injury, or damages incurred during participation. This includes claims of negligence or any other cause of action.

Additional Legal Provisions

Medical Emergencies:

I authorize YEDA to provide or secure emergency medical treatment for participants if necessary. I agree to be financially responsible for all medical expenses incurred as a result.

Behavior and Conduct:

I understand that YEDA reserves the right to dismiss participants or spectators for inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or failure to adhere to YEDA policies and safety standards.

Indemnification Clause:

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless YEDA and the Released Parties from any legal claims or damages resulting from actions taken by the participant, myself, or associated third parties during or in connection with participation in YEDA programs.

Severability Clause:

If any part of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in full effect.

Acknowledgment of Agreement

By choosing to book and pay for any YEDA program, event, service, or session, I affirm that:

I have read and fully understand all terms and provisions in this waiver.
I voluntarily accept the risks and agree to the liability terms outlined above.
This waiver is binding upon me, my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.

By completing registration and payment, I expressly acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
