As a valued YEDA volunteer coach, we’re excited to offer your child the opportunity to participate in the Travel Basketball Season at no cost as a token of our gratitude for your time and commitment.
Your Role in Making the Season a Success
Thank you for volunteering to coach with YEDA. Your time, energy, and commitment make this program possible, and we appreciate everything you bring to our athletes and families.
Because YEDA is still growing, we rely on the support of our entire coaching team to help keep the program strong. When we waive player fees for our volunteer coaches, it significantly reduces the overall funds available to cover essential season expenses. For example, if we have five teams with two coaches per team and each player fee is $895, this reduces our intake by $8,950. While we know your contributions are worth far more than that number, this decrease in revenue limits our ability to fully meet program costs.
To help bridge this gap, we ask all coaches to actively participate in the YEDA Travel Ball Fundraiser. At a minimum, we ask that you raise the equivalent of one child’s registration fee. These funds support the program directly and allow us to continue offering a high quality experience for every athlete.
If we can collectively meet our fundraising goals, it is our hope to provide support toward your hotel fees for the late season, out of state tournament. This is our way of showing appreciation and helping ease the personal financial commitment that comes with coaching travel basketball.
